EXE prompts. So I tried the cleanup utility again, rebooted, and logged back in as admin. This seems to have completely removed ATI. And after re-install it's working again it seems. With the Cleanup Tool, you do need to run this as Administrator, ideally from an Admin account and then restart to complete the action before then reinstalling as admin again.

Comments: Hi folks, I've been running Acronis True Image for years without much trouble. Has anybody ever seen such a thing? Just a little more information: I'm running ATI Attachment Size Perhaps related: I'm re-running the ATI installer in "repair" mode, and it's been stuck on "Repairing This is not possible.
When I traied to make a second backu, Acronis would not start. I click the icon, get then nothing. I checked the task manager and found Acronis I have attached a screen capture so you can see what I mean. Any suggestions would be appreciated. Donald, it sounds very much like you have a pending or active Acronis backup task this is either running or that Acronis believes is active in some way.
I would suggest trying a restart of Windows and see if that clears things up first of all, if not, then you should use the Acronis Scheduler Manager to check what tasks are shown and perhaps to do a zap of all such tasks. Link to the Scheduler Manager KB document and the download is shown in my signature below.
I'd suggest downloading the latest version, and when you have it even if it appears to be the same , make sure to right-click and "run as administrator" this is key for many installations of products these days - simply being logged in with an admin account does not give full administrative access for all features.
You should be given the option to "repair" the installation. Let it repair, and reboot before you launch again and see how it goes. If that doesn't solve it on it's own, you can try starting CLEAN and see how that fairs - probably in To clean install, first, uninstall from control panel. Then run the cleanup tool right-click and "run as administrator" even if logged in with an admin account.
Reboot and then use your newly downloaded the most current available from your account installer and right-clic, and "run as adminsitrator" to start the fresh installation. FYI, it is possible to backup GB in 10 minutes, but depends on your media. When you get Acronis working again, you can try mounting the backup. YOu can also try to validate it as well.
