Win 10 installation: Simplified Chinese keyboards installed: en-us, en-ca and en-Uk Locale: en-ca. I'm going to uncheck that and see if it works. Edit: It worked, but I also changed the locale to en-US, so I can't tell which actually solved the problem. The unicode UTF-8 region setting is a beta feature in Windows10 which is disabled by default. Disable it maybe helpful. Is this actually fixed?
